Biography
What a thing! The biggest thing
ever, the Big Bad Dread and the Baldhead from
Antigua.
In 2001 Davidson Bankers woke up
with a crazy idea or not so crazy idea to form a band and invite Richie
Richardson, ex Windies captain to play guitar and Curtly Ambrose ex
Windies pacer to play bass.
What a thing! At
first it came across as a joke.
Yes people laughed with wonder, if? What? When? And the list goes
on.
Today I am proud to say D&B is
the biggest and baddest band in Antigua if not the
Caribbean.
After releasing our first album in 2002 Another Level, calls came in
from all over the world as far as Australia and India for tours, Yes tour! We went
to Barbados twice, Grenada, the US – wait a minute this is good! But
the sound was a little premature, so we decided to pull the band out of
the playing circuit and get down to some rehearsals of which we did for
a year. Now that the sound
was much better we could not keep
England
waiting any longer. To date
we have done over sixteen gigs from town to country.
London,
Kent, Felsted and the list goes on and
on.
With that experience under our
belts we thought of another album to be released in
Antigua
for ICC World Cup. For the
past two years our focus has been on the Album, thank God it’s here.
With the help of Jah Rastafari and lovely people like - Mommy
